The core activities of the EURAC are in the fields of Applied Linguistics, Minorities and Autonomies, Sustainable Development, Management and Corporate Culture and Life Sciences. The main emphasis of the research focuses on South Tyrolean as well as European interests. Because of its geographical location, South Tyrol is an interface between three different language groups and cultures. Through its work, the EURAC is building bridges between the German and Italian language groups and is also connecting different disciplines, sciences and societies as well as theory and practice.
